Q. What kind of mailings can Mortascreen be used
for?
A. Mortascreen should be used for all types
of customer and prospect mailings. It can be used wherever there is a
possibility of mailing a deceased person in error and for direct mail
usage only.
Q. What other applications does Mortascreen have?
A. The file is perfect for cleansing any
cold list, prior to mailing and for general database management, however
please be aware that Mortascreen is licenced for the purpose of direct
mail suppression only, it may not be used for credit screening or fraud
detection purposes. For anti fraud applications you need to use the Halo

Q. In what format is the data supplied?
A. The data is available in FIX, CSV or TAB formats. Clients can choose to receive either the full file on a monthly basis, or the update file only.
Q. What details appear on the Mortascreen file?
A. Forename, initial, surname and address, along with gender, date of death and date of birth where available.
Q. What type of licences are available?
A. Bureau and End User licences are available.
These can be tailored around your specific requirements. They are typically
one year agreements, but longer or more bespoke terms can be arranged
where necessary.
Q. For how long can I use the data?
A. You are free to use the data for the purposes agreed for the duration of your licence.
